Russia and Prussia sign the Treaty of St. Petersburg ending their part of the seven year war.

1775 After being in England for the past 11 years, Benjamin Franklin arrives in Philadelphia. Upon his returned he is told that he has been appointed as one of Pennsylvania’s delegates to the Second Continental Congress.

Celebrated Birth:
Leopold II (born Peter Leopold Joseph) (b. 1747 – March 1, 1792) Holy Roman Emperor from 1790 to 1792.
