Citizens of Boston dump a second shipload of tea into Boston Harbor. Many are not aware that there were two ‘tea parties’ in Boston and this was the second less famous one.

Celebrated Birth:
Stephen Hopkins (b. 1707 – July 13, 1785) Rhode Island Lawyer, member of Continental Congress, signed the Declaration of Independence, member of Rhode Island Legislature.
