Years during this period with a leap day were 1764, 1768, 1772, 1776, 1780, 1784 and 1788.

There’s an indictment of a white person for dealing with a slave in Accomack County Virginia. Slaves were generally prohibited from engaging in business without their masters’ permission, but many nonetheless did. Accomack County records indicate that interracial commerce was fairly common.

Celebrated Birth
Ann Lee (b. 1736 – September 8, 1784) member of the Quakers set known as Shakers. Led a group who emigrated to Watervliet, New York due to persecution from the Quaker ideology.
